October Meal Calendar + Recipes

posted in:

Hi guys! I know we’re still a few days out from October but I wanted to make sure to get the meal calendar out so you all can print or download it and shop for your groceries accordingly! This calendar includes mostly Paleo meals but there are a few that aren’t. I also included a good number of Instant Pot/slow cooker meals because they’re cozy, especially at this time of the year, and they take little time which I think all of us could use a little more of!

This month I’m not including shopping lists. The vast majority of you said that you did not use them. I apologize for the couple of people that said you did!

For some general information on why we follow a Paleo diet 80-90% of the time and how we make slight changes to recipes to make them Paleo-friendly, you can read about that in the SEPTEMBER MEAL CALENDAR post.

You can print the calendar out or you can use download it and interact with it on your phone! Each day has a clickable link that will take you to the recipe. I’ve also included the link for each day below-

October 1 – Shepherd’s pie

October 2 – Salmon sheet pan dinner

October 3 – Breakfast for dinner/leftovers

  • Note: We usually just play this by ear and use what we have on hand. Our favorite is to make a hash and/or Paleo pancakes.

October 4 – Pizza picnic night!

  • Note: This is our favorite GF pizza dough mix but I’m going to try this recipe to see how it is! We use Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce (paleo-friendly), Trader Joe’s Almond Milk Shredded Cheese, and then top it with veggies/meat.

October 5 – Cauliflower stir fry

October 6 – Chili

October 7 – Loaded baked potatoes with leftover chili + vegetable

October 8 – Zuppa toscana

October 9 – Sausage + veggies sheet pan dinner

October 10 – Breakfast for dinner/leftovers

  • Note: We usually just play this by ear and use what we have on hand. Our favorite is to make a hash and/or Paleo pancakes.

October 11 – Pizza picnic night!

October 12 – Sheet pan fajitas

October 13 – Crock Pot pot roast

October 14 – Salmon + vegetable

October 15 – Hamburger soup

October 16 – Korean BBQ cauliflower lettuce wraps

  • Notes: To make this paleo-friendly swap brown sugar for coconut sugar, soy sauce for coconut aminos, cornstarch for arrowroot powder, normal mayo for avocado mayo, and omit the peanuts (they are a legume). We will be doing all of that except for removing the peanuts.

October 17 – Breakfast for dinner/leftovers

  • Note: We usually just play this by ear and use what we have on hand. Our favorite is to make a hash and/or Paleo pancakes.

October 18 – Pizza picnic night!

October 19 – Twice baked potatoes + garlic roasted Brussels sprouts

  • Note: This is our favorite GF pizza dough mix but I’m going to try this recipe to see how it is! We use Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce (paleo-friendly), Trader Joe’s Almond Milk Shredded Cheese, and then top it with veggies/meat.

October 26 – Cauliflower stir fry

October 27 – Instant Pot chicken pot pie soup + bread/rolls

October 28 – Meatloaf + vegetables

October 29 – Shrimp egg roll in a bowl

October 30 – Breakfast for dinner/leftovers

  • Note: We usually just play this by ear and use what we have on hand. Our favorite is to make a hash and/or Paleo pancakes.

October 31 – Happy Halloween!!! Slow cooker bacon & corn chowder

  • Note: This recipe isn’t Paleo but 1. it’ll be easy to throw into the Crock Pot to have ready to go and 2. to me, this is the definition of comfort food and the perfect for a chili night outside trick-or-treating! I’m hoping it makes you feel all cozy inside too!

I really hope this is something that makes your life a little less stressful and a lot more joyful! If you have any feedback I’d love to hear it.

with joy
